When you place an order with us, we will need to collect your name, e-mail address, shipping address, credit card number and credit card expiration date (credit card information is provided to the company or companies who process your credit card payment). This information allows us to process your order and contact you if we have a question about your order. All of your information is stored on a secured server. If you choose, you may place your order by calling us at 610-527-0300. We do not share your name, email address, shipping address, or credit card information with third parties, except in the case of contact or order information needed to fulfill your order. We do not share or sell email addresses We do use cookie-based web analytics to measure website traffic, usage, and gather demographic information through Google Analytics. The information is gathered for statistical analysis, and is not tied to personally identifiable information. Using Google's Ads Settings, you may choose to opt out of this data collection. If that's something that concerns you, you may also want to look at Google Analytics’ other opt-out settings as well.
Email to The Camera Shop
We ask for your name and email address, and for information to help us answer your questions. If you have provided your email address to us only by sending us an email message, we may follow up on your question via email, but we will not send you email for marketing purposes. After you place an order on our site, you will receive an email confirmation and, in most cases, an email with package tracking information. We do not share any information with any other company, and we do not share or sell email addresses.
How Secure is the Information You Provide Us?
We work to protect the security of your information while placing an order online by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. We do not reveal your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.
It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
Our site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. All information is stored on a secure server, and is always transmitted in an encrypted format. We strive to maintain the reliability, accuracy, completeness and currency of personal data in our databases and to protect the privacy and security of our databases. Although we cannot guarantee against any loss, misuse, unauthorized disclosure, alteration or destruction of data, we try to prevent such unfortunate occurrences.
For your shopping safety, we screen diligently for credit card fraud. Orders will not be shipped until we are able to confirm your order.
We ship via USPS Priority Mail or standard UPS Ground. Shipping is calculated when you place your order. Please be advised that orders over $200 will require a signature upon delivery. For faster delivery, please contact us during normal business hours.
Express in-store pickup
You are welcome to pick up your order at our store during normal business hours. Most orders are filled the day we receive your request, but please call to confirm if you need same-day pick-up.
If for any reason we are unable to complete your order by the following business day, we will contact you to review options.
Returns & Warranty Information
Important Information - Please Read
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from The Camera Shop. Expect us to handle returns, exchanges and repairs as politely and quickly as possible. Certain conditions required by the manufacturers and the law may limit our options.
Keep all packaging including the box, internal packaging, warranty cards, instruction books and any other items included in “new” condition. Failure to do so will almost certainly preclude us from issuing a refund or exchange.
Do not fill out warranty cards until you are satisfied the equipment is in good working order.
Returns & Exchanges
We will gladly return or exchange most items within 14 days under the following guidelines:
Professional equipment, such as, but not limited to, lenses and lighting, are eligible for an exchange at full value, but will incur a 15% restocking fee if a refund is issued.
As a courtesy to our customers if you have a problem with equipment purchased from us we would be happy to send it to the manufacturer for you. All items being left with us for warranty repair will be carefully inspected for any obvious signs that the terms of the warranty will be void. At our discretion, we may elect not to send in equipment with indications of a warranty violation. Once the equipment is inspected by the manufacturer any indication of moisture, dirt, shock, compression, misuse or other problems detected by them will void the warranty.
The Camera Shop’s role is that of liaison and not necessarily as the customer’s advocate.
Unless otherwise noted, pre-owned equipment has a 90-day warranty. Should a problem arise with a used item purchased from The Camera Shop that is determined not to have been caused by moisture, dirt, shock, compression, or misuse, we will refund, repair or replace the item at our discretion.
