The Camera Shop strives to ensure that our customers receive only the highest quality service and merchandise. We realize that at times you may need to return an item to us. To insure proper credit for your returns, please adhere to the following:
RECEIVING YOUR ORDER
Please inspect your order upon receipt. Do not fill out warranty cards or discard packaging until you are certain the merchandise is in good working condition.
HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM
Please contact The Camera Shop at 1-610-527-300 to get an authorization for your return. We will accept returns within 7 days from the receipt of goods on UNUSED and UNOPENED items. We will not accept returns on the following items:
Batteries and/or Chargers
Cameras with shutter actuations
Underwater equipment once submerged
Sensitized materials (for example: film)
Software, books, DVD's
RETURNS IN ORIGINAL CONDITION
All returned or exchanged items must be in new condition, in their original box, and must include all packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals, and all accessories. Do not tape or deface manufacturers original (product) cartons. Returns that are received in other than original condition will not be accepted or returned. Shipping fees are not refundable.
RETURNING "FACTORY SEALED ITEMS"
All items sold with new "factory sealed" packaging (e.g. Leica camera bodies/lenses, DJI drones/gimbals, supertelephoto lenses) are subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee if the original seal is broken.
Cameras that have recorded shutter actuations are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
RETURNING USED EQUIPMENT
All used equipment returns made within 14 days are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee. Used equipment returns beyond 14 days will not be accepted. Original shipping fees are not refundable.
DEFECTIVE PRODUCT RETURNS
If you receive a product that is defective out of the box, we will happily replace your product without any cost to you. All defective returns must be made within 14 days of receipt of product. Full manufacturers warranties are supplied with merchandise purchased from The Camera Shop. Please call us at 610-527-0300 if you have any questions regarding the repairs covered under a manufacturer warranty.
TO SHIP ITEMS BACK
Pack all items to be returned in a sturdy shipping carton (you may use the original shipping carton if you wish). Ship item back by the most convenient means. We suggest you ship by an insurable method. Please enclose a "copy" (keep original) of your sales receipt.
Credit for returns are normally processed within 3 business days from the date we receive the merchandise. Credit will be applied to the original payment method given online when the order was placed. A restocking fee will apply if all return conditions are not met as mentioned above.
